WORKSOP EXTENDED The Worksop Extended Gold Dredging Company, Limited (West Coast), has declared a dividend (the seventh) of 10 per cent, payable on August 26. This will absorb £I6OO. An amount of £1(50. has been added to the special reserve fund for repayment of capital, mliich fund now stands at £ll2O. The company has now returned 70 per cent on capital since dredging operations began in August, 1931.
YIELDS OF COMPANIES Alexander (Recfton) report for July, with June figures in parentheses:— Crushed, 500 (351) tons for 1970z. Bdwt. (188o?:. 17dwt.) melted gold; cyanide department treated 284 (236) tons of sand for 50oz. sdwt. (430z. 9dwt.) bullion; total estimated value at £7 an oz., £1585 (£1530). In addition, 13.1 (9.3) tons of concentrates wore saved, valued at £414 (£240). Argo (West Coast). —Last week, 490z. for 117 hours, and 10,000 yds. Glenroy (Murehison). —26}0z,. for 92 hours. Gillespie's Beach (South Westland). —Last week, L'iOoz. for 128 hours worked on the lagoon side of the cut.
