PAKURANGA HUNT

MEET AT PIGEON MOUNTAIN SEVERAL GOOD RUNS The Pakuranga Hunt met at Pigeon Mountain on Saturday morning, there being a fair muster of members. Turning from the starting point, the hunt worked across Mr. M. T. Oilman's property for a commencing run without. any success. A haro was then put up in Mr. J. Robert's property. Crossing the creek into Mr. C. Connolly's farm, it led the hunt across the Howick Road, through Mr. J. Langford's farm and back to the concrete, where the scent was lost. Another hare put up on Mr. A. C. Trousdale's property ran on to another part of the Langford farm, behind Mr. A. Reims' paddocks and nearly into llowick, doubling back to Miss Gill's property on lUeak Hill, close to which a kill was made. Put up at Pigeon Mountain, a third hare led the hunt a good chase through Mr. S. Oliver's property and toward Rockland's Reach, being killed on Mr. J. Langford's farm. A fourib hare put up on Mr. F. Roberts' property ran through the properties of Mr. E. Churches and Messrs Roberts, hack to the I'akuranga Hall, where the hounds wero called orr. Among the followers were:—Tlio master, Mr. 11.
