NEW MAGISTRATE
FAREWELL TO MR. FERNER A special mooting of tho Mount Albert Borough Council will bo held in tho council ehamltors to-night to farewell the Mayor, Mr. R. Pernor, who is leaving shortly for tho South Island to take up his new position as stipendiary magistrate. An invitation has been extended to ratepayers aiul residents of the district to attend the meeting, and a presentation will be made to Mr Pernor during tho evening.
