Mr. Benjamin Parsons, aged 32, with two children, slipped uifder a loaded waggon which passed over his left leg; and left hand, the fingers of which were severed. It is not yet known whether the man's leg will have to b# amputated. Nurses in a near by maternity home gave first aid, and later the man, who was recently transferred from Wellington, was brought, to Nel' sou Hospital.
