CHILDREN'S MOTHERS FINED TWO CASES AT HAMILTON [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Monday Two mothers of children who had attended the Frankton School wore prosecuted in the Hamilton Police Court to-day for failing to send their children to school during the last three months. Mr. J. K. Hume, school attendance officer, said the Education Act required the attendance of children between the ages of seven and. 14. Mrs. T. Kavanagh was fined £2 10s and costs, and Mrs. M. Olsen was fined £1 and costs.
