COLLIE DOG POISONED

A black and white collie dog, which had taken several prizes at a recent show, was found dead last week by tho owner, Mr. E. ,1. Crowe, of Duncdin. Indications wore that the animal had been poisoned and this was found to bo the ca.se when an examination was carried out. It was discovered that tho dog had eaten a piece of meat tied into a ball and containing poison. Mr. Crowe said the bait was obviously a prepared one and that, in his opinion, the dog was deliberately poisoned.
