TOW-LINE PARTS IN GALE THE KALINGO STANDING BY [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION*] WELLINGTON, Sunday The hulk Rosamond, which is being towed to Auckland by the Union Steam Ship Company's steamer Kalingo, broke adrift in a northerly gale at midnight 011 Saturday, when the vessels were mid\<"ny between Cape Runaway and White Island. A heavy sea was running. The Kalingo stood by, and it was hoped to get a fresh lino to tho Rosamond late this afternoon, as the wind had changed to tho south and the sea had moderated. The vessels were 18 miles off tho land and were iii no danger.
