CRUISE OF THE IDLE HOUR MR. IVAN PALMER'S ILLNESS SYDNEY, July IS A message from Thursday Island reports that the American ketch Idle Hour, which is bound for Singapore from New Zealand and Australia on a world cruise, called to-day at Koepang, Timor Island. The owner-master, Mr. Dwight Long, upset his tiny dinghy and was swept a quarter of a mile in a four-knot current before being rescued by lugger boys. Later he dined with Lord Gowrie, Governor-General of Australia Mr. Ivan Palmer, who joined the crew of the ketch at Auckland, is well after a week's attack of malaria, for which ho was sent to hospital.
