Miss iCffie Studholnie, Bay of Islands, who has boon visiting Auckland, loft by motor-car yesterday 011 lier return home.
Miss Mary Williams, of Paihia, who has boon the guest of Mrs. A. B. Roberton, Remuera Road. returned home yesterday.
Miss Margaret Liglitbourno, Shelly Beach Road, Herno Bay, has returned from a visit to Kerikeri, Bay of Islands.
Mrs. Eric Bullock, of Auckland, who has been staying with Mrs. L. Scaife in Tiniaru for some days has left for Waiiaka.
Mrs. Philip Cooke, formerly of Wellington, who lias been staying in Auckland, will leave by the Niagara tomorrow for Vancouver.
Miss El fie Reed, of Paihia, who has been the guest of her cousin, Miss Joan Hellaby, of Remuera Road, for several days, returned home by motor-car yesterday.
Miss Anita Corcoran and Miss Ursula Bruckner, of Los Angeles, who have been visiting Rotorua, arrived in Auckland last evening and are at Hotel Cargon.
Lady Wilford arrived in Wellington on Friday by the Akaroa from England. During her stay in the Dominion she will reside at Paekakariki. Lady W ilford plans to visit Auckland.
Mrs. Noel Adams, of Clevedon, was a visitor to New Plymouth last week on her return from Wellington where she attended the Dominion conference of the Women's Division of the Farmers' Union.

A meeting of the Devonport Women's Christian Temperance Union was held last week. Mrs. Williams presiding. Visitors were present from Mount Albert and the Ponsonby Unions. Members reported on their work at the Winter Show and arrangements were made for the entertainment to be held in August. Recitations were given by Mrs. Burnett and Miss Mary Fogartv. Two competitions were won hv Mrs. Wrack. Afternoon tea was served by members.
