U bearer widower, of Te Kawa. Cut and shock. Condition not serious. The four men. who were empkrej by Messrs. W. S. Gcosernar. and Cosh pany, road cor;rractors. at Te Kaxa. near Te Awamutu. were traveling ia a three-sea ter roadster. ~i::vh being driven to Auckland tj Mr. Bremner. All Pinned Usderceatfe They were all in the or-e seat, Mr. Prince sitting on Mr. Moiseaa'a knee. Torrential rain iras falling at th» time, and as the car approached a b?nd in the road, tee left-hand feci tys® blew out. The vehicle left the road ray and travelled for 150 ft. along the *'d* of the road, finally falling - into a depression 4ft. deep. It turned ostspSeielr round and capsized. All the ocrcpustg were pinned under the car. but Mr. Prince managed to get free and call for help. Mr. Blank and Mr. Mosicn had their necks broken and died instantly. Passing motorists heard Mr. PriirceV cries, and the car •Bras righted and the other occupants were extricated. Dr. A. B. Jameson, of Hantly. and the police were called, and the bodies vers removed to the Hnntly morgue. Mr. Bremner was taken in a St. John in* balance to the Waikato Hospital. h..t Mr. Prince did not require feasfstal treatment. Adjournment of Inquest The accident emphasises the need fe* an ambulance service at Hcgmy. u there is no ambulance ' nearer than Hamilton. An inquest was opened at Huntiy today before Mr. F. Harris, coroner, and adjourned after evidence of identnkation had been given. Blank, who was well knowa a Pa pa kura. where he had lived for a number of years. leaves a widow, nra wiii and three daughters, two of the latter being still at school.
