Budge and B. Grant defeated G. P. Hughes and C. IL D. Tuckey, 6—4, 6—2, 10—8. I ho losers comprise Britain's doubles pair for the challenge round against the winner of the Davis Cup inter-zone final, which was played at Wimbledon to-day. Budge to-day defeated Perry, i)— 7, 7—5, B—lo, 7 —5, and Austin defeated Grant, 6—o, 6—2, 6—2.
