MAYORAL CHAIN
PLAN AT MORRINSVILLE [«Y TELEGRAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT] MORRINSVILLE, Saturday As a further celebration of tho diamond jubilee of the UTstrict, it was decided at a meeting of the Morrinsville Borough Council on Friday to secure a jewel for a mayoral'chain. It was stated that all ex-Mayors had been approached and had agreed to contribute links in a chain according to his term of office. Owners of corner sections in tho main street are to be asked to set back the corners of their properties to allow more room for traffic. It was stated that the owners of two of the most prominent buildings had already agreed to the proposal.
