FAREWELL DANCE Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Peat, who are leaving shortly for Waipu, were the guests of honour at a farewell party given by the Mayor and Mayoress, Mr. and Mrs. AY. T. Osborne, in the Parish Hall, Morrinsville. Streamers of blue and gold, bowls of cyclamen and berries and It blazing log fire made the hall look very bright and cheery. Mr. Osborne expressed regret at the departure of Mr. and Mrs. Peat and eulogised the prominent part taken in many activities lor the welfare and progress of .Morrinsville. The Mayoress wore a frock of lima green lloral faille, and Mrs. Peat, was in Gloucester green craqueilo. The ladies present wcro: —Mrs. W. T. Osborne, Mrs. C. A. Peat, Mrs. C. M. Glimmer, Mrs. W. Morrice, Mrs. H. A. Smith, Mrs. H. E. Blennerhassett, Mrs. J. 11. Gaddos, Mrs. L. Echlin, Mrs., J. JJaykion, Mrs. L. Osborne, i\lrs. W. Hogg, Mrs. J. J. Scales, Mrs. E. Masse v, Mrs. C. H.
