LOAN TO KILL RAGWORT
RAGLAN COUNTY ACTION COUNCIL TO RAISE £IO,OOO [BY TELEGRAPH OWN* CORRESPONDENT] NGARUAWAHIA, Wednesday The Raglan County Council to-day took the preliminary steps to raise a loan of £IO.OOO for the eradication of ragwort in the county. Rates were also struck for the current year. In two ridings the rates remained unchanged and in the other ten ridings were raised by an average of 10 per cent.
