HARRIER RACING

ANNUAL TEAMS' EVENT CHANGE OF COURSE MADE Tlio Auckland Harrier Sub-centre has decided upon ail alteration of course lor its annual 10-men teams' championship on Saturday week. Hitherto the contest has taken place at the Avondale racecourse, but on this occasion it will be held at Birkenhead, where an excellent trail has been'selected. This will enable several competitors to run abreast if necessary, and thereby avoid the congestion that has been caused on the narrow tracks in parts of the old course. BAPTIST CLUB'S RUN The members of the Auckland Baptist Harrier Club will hold a run next Saturday from the residence of Mr. W. A. Kendon, 10 Lewin Road, One Tree Hill, ofT Manukau Road, starting at 2.30 o'clock. LYNNDALE CLUB The Lynndale Harrier Club will hold a (•%-miles run from the Avondale racecourse on Saturday, commencing at 2.30 p.m. PRESBYTERIAN CLUB The Presbyterian Bible Class Harrier Club will hold a run on Saturday from the residence of Mrs. G. Paterson, 50 Gillies Avenue, Epsom. UNIVERSITY CLUB The University Harrier Club will hold a run next Saturday over the ten-men teams' course at Avondale starting from the racecourse at 2.15 p.m. CALLIOPE CLUB The Calliope Harrier Club will hold a (>V A miles ..n in three packs over the ten-men teams' cours". at Birkenhead, on Saturday. The run will start from the Buffalo Hall at 30 p.m. and a run-in of SBO yards will also be held PAPATOETOE CLUB'S RUN Members of the Papatoetoe Harrier Club will hold a run from the clubrooms on Saturday, commencing at 2.30 p.m. Handicaps for a 150 yards run-in have been declared as follows:—R French, scr; A.
