TRIAL MATCH COMMENCED HARDSTAFF MAKES 89 NOT OUT LONDON, Jure 15 In tho trial match between North and South at Lord's, which is being played with the object of selecting the English team to play India in the first test match on June 27, North scored 321 (A. Mitchell 63, Wvatt 67, Hardstaff 89 not out). The wickets were shared equally by A. R. Gover and R. W. V. .Robin's, who took five wickets for 93 and fivo wickets for 78 respectively.
