NEW METHOD PLANNED BAN ON MEETINGS REMOVED TOKIO, .Tune 14 The Japanese Minister of Finance, Baron Baba, stated to-day that the Government was considering a new method of taxation, based on a sliding scale and providing for either a minimum, medium or wartime expenditure as a new national policy necessitated. The Government has lifted the ban from public meetings, which has operated since the militarist outbreak in February. It is understood that the raising of the state of martial law will follow.
