Persimmon Jam
Lovely to look at, delightful to : eat, is persimmon jam made this j Way Peel and slice the fruit, allow- : ing V 4 lb. sugar to each pound and | the juiceof one lemon to every three } pounds fruit. Sprinkle a little sugar ■ over the persimmons, and let stand \ over night. Then boil fruit, sugar : and lemon juice all together till \ it jellies. Bottle hot and seal down : when cold. :
