NEW ZEALAND TEAM GAME AT ANNERLEY (Received Juno 12, 8.15 p.in.) SYDNEY, June 12 The party of New Zealand bowlers nt present in New South Wales played at Annerley to-day. Parker's rink won by 22 to 15. and Higgolt and Harrison and the two Victorian players lost by 15 to 23. NO SUNDAY GAMES WHITIORA CLUB'S DECISION [FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT] HAMILTON, Friday A proposal to play b.-wls on Sundays was defeated by 211 votes to 17 at the annual meeting of the Whitiora Bowling Club last night. Mr. D. G. Andre-,ve presided. Tho secretary, Mr. T. B. Booth, in his annual report, said that after 25 years' association the Whitiora Croquet Club had secured new grounds. A sum of £IOO had been spent in improving the bowling club's grounds. There had been a reduction of membership during the year, but in other respects the season had been a success. The election of officers _ resulted:—Patron, Mr. W. F. Mason; president, Mr. F. W. Woodliall: vice-president. Mr. V Dowries; secretary. Mr. A. S. Cliff.'; treasurer. Mr. D. G. Cook; committee, Messrs. B. Elliott, A. P. Nelson and D. G. Street; solicitors. Messrs. J. N. Irvine, A. S. ClifTe and B. Elliott.
