AFFRAY IN PEKING

DEATH OF JAPANESE BRITONS NOT INVOLVED Times Cable LONDON, June 8 The diplomatic correspondent of the Times says a preliminary report from the British Embassy at Poking, regarding allegations that the Embassy Guard killed a Japaneso officer, has reached the Foreign Office. It states that a searching inquiry disclosed that none of the guard was in the part of Peking where the affray occurred. A piece of webbing believed to have belonged to a British uniform, which was found near the scene, had been proved to be of a typo not worn by the British guard.
