WOMEN'S LUNCHEON CLUB

There was a good attendance of members at the fortnightly meeting of the Women's Luncheon Club hold at tho Ritz yesterday. The president, Mrs. El. O'Halloran, presided and Mrs. Gulliver. acted as hostess. The speaker on this occasion was Major Falcon, who gave an address on tho north-weiih frontier of India. The language, dress, food, and somo of the costumes of the people were discussed and interesting specimens of Indian apparel were shown. Major Falcon paid a tribute io the missionaries, whoso heroism head* mired. Mrs. Kenner thanked the speaker for his address.
