RIFLE DUEL REFUSED
YOUNG FARM WORKER SHOT NEW SOUTH WALES MURDER SYDNEY, June 1 William Duncombe, aged 32, a farm* worker of Boomi, near Mudgee, wail', to-day shot through the chest and killed instantly. According to a statement by the police, Duncombe is alleged to have refused to fight a duel with rifles. A man has been arrested and charged with murder.
