The donor i* Mr. Samuel Saltzman, a well-knoirtt Dunedin business man. • The construction of this block to be postponed in 1931 owing to*w depression. Plans ' and specifications had been prepared but the commJ> tee's finances would not permit erection. The gift by Mr. Saltzman to _ Waitaki Hospital Board of & children's open-air block, estimated . cost £ISOO, was announced, earn® this month.
