H. J. TYRIE FOR AUCKLAND TRANSFER FROM DUNEDIN [BY TELEGRAPH —OITK CORRESPONDENT] DUNEDIN, Tuesday A severe loss to Otago track athletics will be caused by the departure from Dunedin at the end, of this week of H. J. Tvrie, the young Otago and New Zealand 440 yds champion, who has received notice of his transfer to Auckland. Tyrie, who is 20 years of age, has been competing on the track for only two years, but in that period he has attained the highest honours in New Zealand athletics and has prospects of representing New Zealand at the Empire Games in Sydney in 1933.
