FIUNKTON QUOTATIONS FAT SHEEP IN DEMAND LARGE YARDING OF PIGS [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Tuesday A heavy yarding of all classes of fat sheep came forward at tho Frankton saleyards to-day, with a good proportion of ewe and wether mutton. Competition was brisk, values being on a par with last week's improved rates. There was a heavy yarding of lambß, but the quality was not as good aa last week, values remaining unchanged. Buyers were again offered a full yarding of good-quality runners and vealers, the market showing no alteration. Cow and heifer beef were yarded in exceptionally large numbers, with a good proportion of finished cuttle. The market was easier than at recent sales. Exporters showed a keen demand for the extra heavy yarding of second-quality and boner cows, but bulk showed no alteration in values. An exceptionally heavy yarding of fat pigs caine forward, also a full entry of stores and weaners. Competition from a full bench of buyers was keen for all classes, and last week's rates were slightly exceeded. As at other centres, stores and weaners wero dull of sale.
