SEINING AND TRAWLING PROHIBITION IN SOME WATERS [BY TELEGRAPH —SPECIAL REPORTER] WELLINGTON, Tuesday In view of representations made recently to the Marine Department complaining about the depletion of the fish supply and the destruction caused by trawling and Danish seining, it is proposed to issue Orders-in-Council prohibiting trawling in the Bay of Islands and Danish seining and trawling in Doubtless Bay. These matters are now being considered by the Government, and it is probable that the Orders-in-Council will be issued shortly.
