TRADE WITH AUSTRALIA

INVITATION TQ CONFERENCE DECISION NOT YET MADE [by TELEGRArH —SPECIAL REPORTER] WELLINGTON, Wednesday No decision has yet been made by the New Zealand Government regarding the invitation received from the Commonwealth Government for the Dominion Minister of Agriculture, Hon. W. Lee Martin, accompanied by the head of his department, to attend an agricultural conference at Canberra next month. Discussing the position to-night the Prime Minister, Mr. Savage, said that so many important questions required consideration in the Dominion that the V Cabintet had not yet had time to deal fully with tho Australian invitation. However, it was realised that the presence of a Dominion 1 Minister in Australia would bo fextremely valuable for the purpose of discussing general trade questions and as soon as the more urgent business had been disposed of a definite decision would be made.
