The Waipiata, from South Island ports and Wellington, is to leave Picton to-day for Auckland, where she is due on Wednesday. The Pukeko is due from Portland this evening. After loading at Central Wharf she is to sail for East Coast bays, Gisborne and Napier to-morrow afternoon.

The Margaret W is due from Gisborne this morning and will berth at Kine's Wharf to load for East Coast bays and Gisborne. She is to sail to-morrow afternoon. THE JAMES COOK The James Cook, from New South Wales ports, is to leave Sydney for Auckland, Napier and Wellington to-day. She is due here next Sunday. THE BENHOLM The Benholm cleared New York on April 11 and Newport News on April 13 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Australia. She is due at Auckland about May 13. THE PORT BOWEN The Port Line steamer Port Bowen. which left Port Chalmers for London. Avonmouth. Liverpool and Glasgow on March 1, ia reported to have reached Avonmouth on Thursday. THE SIMONSIDE The Simonside was to leave Wanganui for Westport on Saturday to replenish her bunkers before she returns to Nauru to load another cargo of phosphates. WANGANELLA LEAVES SYDNEY The Wanganeila cleared Sydney for Auckland at 8.50 o'clock on Saturday night. The vessel is due on Wednesday morning and is to sail for Sydney on Friday morning. REMUERA CLEARED CURACAO The New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Remuera cleared Curacao on Friday in continuation of her voyage from London to Wellington and Auckland. She is due at Wellington on May 10. THE CITY OF CANBERRA The City of Canberra arrived from New York last night. She will berth a". Queens Wharf this morning to unload cargo for Auckland. The remainder of the cargo is for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Australia. CARGO FROM JAPAN The Manju Maru arrived from Japan yesterday morning and berthed at Wharf to unload cargo for AucKland. She is to sail this afternoon for Wellington. Lyttelton and Dunedin to complete discharge. From Dunedin she win return to Japan, via Melbourne. THE PORT WAIKATO The Port Waikato, en route from Coffs Harbour, left Dargaville for Auckland on Saturday morning. The vessel is due to-day and, after discharge, she will load for Southern porta, sailing on Friday, one is to continue in the £«ew Zealand coaßtal trade for a considerable period. CARGO FROM PACIFIC COAST The Union Company's motor-ship Eimerick arrived from Los Angeles on Saturday and berthed at Prince s JVharf. Strong easterly winds and rough following seas were experienced during the last week ox the voyage. The vessel has cargo from Pacific Coast ports ior discharge at Auckland. Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin. Melbourne and Sydney. MISHAP TO SALVUS When proceeding up the Whangarei River on Saturday afternoon the steamer Salvus. which left Auckland on Saturday morning, stranded on a sandstone bank about a jrme below the wharf where she was to unload newsprint from Liverpool, Nova Scotia. It is hoped to refloat her to-day with the aid of the Claymore. AORANGI AT SYDNEY The Royal Mail liner Aorangi arrived at Sydney from Auckland at seven o'clock on Saturday morning. The vessel is to sail on Thursday for Vancouver, via Auckland. Suva and Honolulu. She will reach Auckland next Monday morning and will resume her voyage the following} day. PORT HUNTER'S PASSENGERS The following is the passenger list of the Port Line steamer Port Hunter, which left Wellington for London on Saturday:—Mr. and Mrs. H. M. and Miss H. M. Campbell. Mr. H. R. Usher will act as ship's surgeon. • THE CANADIAN VICTOR The Canadian Victor arrived from Halifax yesterday morning and berthed at Kine's Wharf. Strong easterly winds and rough seas experienced during the last week of the voyage culminated in a fresh gale and heavy rain on Saturday night when the vessel was nearing port. After unloading general cargo for Auckland she will proceed to Wellington and Australia to complete discharge. DURHAM'S LOADING DATES The Federal Line motor-ship Durham has been delayed unloading cargo from London at Southern ports, and she is now completing discharge at Nelson. The vessel ie now scheduled to commence her homeward loading at New Plymouth on Wednesday and to arriveat Auckland next Monday to continue loading. Her other loading ports are Tokomaru Bay. Gisborne, Waikokomi. Isapier and Wellington. She is scheduled to clear Wellington for London, via Cape Horn, on May 11.
