Boxer in Films

Max Baer, playboy of the prize-ring, is coming back to pictures —as a cowboy. His agent has received offers from •Hollywood for "Max to appear in a series of " horse-operas." On his last (and first) appearance on the screen —in " Everywoman's Man " —Baer revealed a pleasant personality and certain acting possibilities. That was in 1933. Since then, Baer has lost his heavyweight title and slipped a little from the public eye. He is now considering an offer for one picture at one of the larger studios, as well as the series of " Westerns."
