MONEY IN FLOWER-POT

Found hidden in a flowcr-pot, tho sum of £lOlO in notes left by a recluse, who died recently in a London hospital, is the subject of a search for next-of-kin made by the Wimbledon police. Tho recluse was Mr. Charles Brown, of Wimbiedon, who died at tho age of 79. As he failed to open tho door to his housekeeper, police officers forcibly entered his home .and found him ill. They discovered the /lower-pot containing the money in Mr. Brown's bedroom.

The doad man had refused to make a will, because he always declared if ho left his monej to anyone he would be poisoned. His sister is thought to bo somewhere in the North of England, but so far efforts to trace her have failed.
