VISIT BY MINISTER LIKELY MESSAGE FttOM MR. SAVAGE [BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON, Friday In a message to the people of Western Samoa, the Prime Minister, Mr Savage, says the Government has one object, and that is to attain the goodwill of the whole of the Samoan people and their complete co-operation with the Government for their common good and for the preservation of all that is best in Samoan ideals and methods of government in. just the same way as id New Zealand. Sir. Savage notifies his intention of sending probaibly a Minister of the Crown to Samoa with the object of improving the relations of the Samoans with each other, with the Administration of Western Samoa, and with the New Zealand Government and people. The Government believes that the return of Mr. 0. F. Nelson will be taken as evidence of the Government's intention to secure the co-operation of all sections of the Samoan people, and feels that Mr. Nelison will be able arid willing to assist materially in this object.
