HARRIER RACING
WESLEY CLUB'S SEASON A successful season's activities was reviewed in the report presented at the fourth annual meeting of the Wesley Harrier and Athletic Club. In view of the forthcoming Bible Class Easter camps, and the fact that harrier runs would be included in their programmes, it was decided to appoint. J. C. Spoor.er publicity officer for the senior camp at Hunua, and It. Salmon to act in a similar capacity at the Campbell's Bay junior camp. It was resolved to hold the first run on April 18 at Mount Roskill, and the official ofroning on May 2 from Epsom. The following officers were elected:— President. Mr. G. C. Riddell; vice-presi-dents, Revs. E. T. Olds, E. D. Patchett, W. Walker, F. J. Parker, and Messrs. P. M. Winstonc, W. R. Hookings, H. J. Beavis, E. P. Salmon: club captain, .T. C. Spooner; vice-captain, A. Thrift; secretary, A. R. Maginness; treasurer, R. B. Verry; committee, W. F. Chappcll, S. Moore, L. C. Smith; handicapper, A. P. Graham; delegate to Auckland Harrier sub-committee, A. R. Maginncss.
