LOSS TO TENNIS
MENZEL RETIRING ALEXANDRIA, April 6 'lhe faTnous Czechoslovakian tennis player, Roderick Menzel, who played in a tournament in Alexandria to-day, announces that he has played in his last competition. He states that tennis is a whole time occupation, and he cannot afford it, but must devote his time to writing. Menzel won the singles from Henkel, 6—2, 5—7, 6 —o, 6—4. Menzel has represented his country in the Davis Cup since 1928.
