NORTH SHORE BRANCHES The annual general meeting of the Devonport branch of the Plunket Society was hold in the rooms yesterday. The election of officers resulted: — Patrons, the Mayor and Mayoress of Devonport. Mr. and Mrs. H. F. W. Meikle; president, Mrs. E. G. Whitley; vice-president, Mrs. Robert Wvnyard; lion, secretary, Mrs. H. Gorbett; treasurer, Mrs. A. T. Griffiths; committee. Mrs. J. P. Kalaugher, Mrs. S. G. Vaiie, Mrs. A. IC. Alison, Mrs. J. B. Crawford, Mrs. M. M. Morrison, Mrs. J. Newell, Mrs. T. H. Palmer, Mrs. J. N. Wad dell, Mrs. A. E. Wilson, Mrs. G. Clark-Walker, Mrs. J. G. Palairet, Mrs. G. S. Ardley, and Miss N. L. Bonnett. The resignation of Mrs. E. H. Little from the committee was received with regret. A vote of thanks was accorded to the following, who drove the nurse in their cars on her visits to her patients during the year-—Mrs. E. G. Whitley, Mrs. G. McAra, Mrs. 0. Johnson, Mrs. H. Ryder, Mrs. G. A. Gribbin, Mrs. C. Court, Mrs. E. Harper, Mrs. Carl Prime and Miss Ina Wight. It was stated that £5 had been donated by the branch to the Karitane Home. The nurse's report for the year was as follows: —Visits to homes, 587; visits to rooms, adults, 2795: babies, 2.393; children, 564; total, 5752. A most successful year's work and a sound financial position were disclosed at the annual general meeting of the Takapuna branch of the Plunket Societv. Jacobi, Mrs. H. R. Lister, Mrs. G. H. Matthews, Mrs. J. McGregor, Mrs. Garfield Stewart, Mrs. A. M. Howden, Mrs. S. H. Thomas, Airs. R. 0. Phillips, Mrs. A. W. Short, Mrs. T. Sussex, and Mrs. A. X. Goldwater. Thanks wore expressed to the retiring secretary, Mrs. H. R. B. Jacobi, ami the retiring treasurer, Mrs. H. R. Lister, for their services in the past. Both Mrs. Jacobi and Mrs. Lister were presented with bouquets. The nurse's report for the year was as follows: —Visits to rooms, adults, 2071, children, 1717, babies, 628, total. 4416; visits to homes, 593.
