EVENTS AT MORRINSVILLE [FROM OUII OWN CORRESPONDENT] MORRINSVILLE, Monday Tho Morrinsvillo Defence Rifle Club has concluded its annual competition for tho J. C. Allen Memorial Shield, which is contested under service conditions. Tho winner was W. McDonald, with a score of 128 out of a possible. 150. The conditions were as follows; Five rounds application and five rounds snap-shooting at 200 yds; 10 rounds rapid at 300 yds; and 10 rounds application at 500 yds. The principal scores wero as follows: W. McDonald, 23, 21, 39, 45—128; K. W. Grigsby, 21, 21. 39. 14—125; S. Logged, j 22, 19, 38, 43—122; N. Ferguson, 22, 20. 38, 41—121; P. C. Monday The Whangarei Defence Rifle Club held a flhoot at the week-end in the rose bowl scries. Th<» light was dull, with a fresh left wind. W. Norris tied with J.
