However, paid capital in the interim has been increased from £28,760 to £44,660, A„ dividend of 6 per cent, unchanged, is recommended. The directors state that the trading account shows an increase of £9434 over the previous year's figures, the turnover having expanded by 35 per cent. Balance-sheet figures reflect the expansion in business consequent on tho purchase last year of the Dominion Laundry Company, Limited. Fixed assets, chiefly buildings and plant, are assessed at £66,654, an increase of about £20,000. Laundry rights are unchanged at £4678. Sundry debtors and stock have increased by about £ISOO. In addition to capital of £44,660, tho company has loan accommodation amounting to £24,480, an increase of £7OOO. Trade creditors, etc., are £ISOB lower at £2631.
