MECHANIC SENTENCED
MANY FORMER CONVICTIONS [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] PALMERSTON NORTH, Monday Sentences totalling 15 months' hard labour were imposed in the Police Court on Arnold Vaughan Sutton, aged 37, motor mechanic, on a charge of breaking, entering and theft at Awapuni, and on three charges of issuing valueless cheques. The police stated that accused had 40 previous convictions for various offences.
