SIR WALTER CARNCROSS
PATIENT IN HOSPITAL [by telegraph—own correspondent] WELLINGTON, Monday The Speaker of the Legislative Council, Sir Walter Carncross, who recently celebrated his 81st birthday, became ill after the opening of the session last week and has now entered a private hospital. During his illness the Bon. J. A. Hanan will act as deputy-Speaker.
