He leaves on a holiday trip to England to-night and intends to return in December. - There was a gathering of over 100 business men this morning to farewell Mr. Rogers, and to congratulate him on the completion of over 60 years' service for the company and on hii \ appointment as managing-director. Warm tributes were paid by representative speakers to his efficiency and tactfulness in his service to the business community. Mr. A. R. Dyson, assistant manager, will succeed Mr. Rogers as general manager of the company.
