Wednesday Prospects for the 193G season of the Piako Hockey Association are very bright, as the four clubs in the Morrinsville district of the association's nrca report that they have plenty of players available. Officers elected at the annual meeting of the Morrinsville Men's Hockey Club were as follows: —Patron, Mr. C. M. Gummer; president, Mr. 11. D. Hastie; vice-presidents, Messrs. R. Cr. Vivian, M. P. Roigard and Dr. S. Morrow; secretary, Mr. E. Stirling; auditor. Mr. L. W. Osborne; delegates to Piako Hockey Association, Messrs. H. Crickett and A. King. At the annual meeting of the Kereone Men's Hockey Club officers were elected as follows:—President, Mr. D. Reid; vice-presi-dents, Messrs. W. E. Watts, H. L. MacQtieen, AV. J. Aitken and H. G. Johns; secretory, Mr. E. Topham; delegate* to Piako Association, Messrs. R. R. Heaton and G. Johns; coach, Mr. Heaton; team manager, Mr. Mac Queen. The following officers were elected at the annual meeting of the Mangateparu Men's Hockey Club:—Patron, Mr. W. H. Jeffs; president. Mr. H. V. Chapman; vice-presi-dents. Messrs. W. Kerr, sen., J. Corkery. J. Mulcahy, M. T. Coleman, A. Lenditch and J. Page; secretary and treasurer, Mr. H. Bloomfiold: committee, Messrs. Bloomfield. J. Penney, Corkery. J. Ruddock. D. Gordon and R. Oliver; audilor, Mr. W. Kerr, jun.; selectors. Messrs. Kerr, sen., Corkery nnd the captain; delegates to Piako Association, Messrs. Chapman and Bloomfield. A successful past season was reviewed at the first annual meeting of the Motumaoho Lndiea* Hockey Club. Mrs. W. Smith was re-elected president and Miss E. Belsey was elected secretary. The first practice will be held on Saturday. The Piako Hockejr Association will hold its annual meeting this week.
