DEATH FROM INJURIES
MAN STRUCK BY TAXI The death occurred in the Auckland Hospital yesterday of Mr. Donald Mackenzie, .of 55 Franklin Road, Ponsonby, who was admitted on Sunday night, with fractures of both legs, head injuries and shock, received when he was struck by a taxi-cab in College Hill. An inquest was opened before Mr. Wyvern Wilson, S.M., coroner, the inquiry being adjourned after formal evidence had been given.
