RIOTING AT TAVUA
CONVICTION OF OFFENDERS SUVA. Feb. 21 As a sequel to the recent riots among native miners at the Tavua goklfields, 27 Fijians have been convicted on charges of riotous behaviour and two have been sentenced to six months' imprisonment for assault.
