NEW BRITISH STAMPS
NOVELTY IN DESIGN KING'S HALF-LENGTH PORTRAIT (Received February 17, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON. Feb. 16 For the first time in history new British stamps are to bo issued at the end of 1936 which will show a lialflongth portrait of tho Sovereign instead of a profile as hitherto. It is understood that King Edward at his own request will appear on the stamps in naval uniform and bare-headea.
