CAR OVER A BANK
TWO OCCUPANTS INJURED [BY TELEGKAI'H —PRESS ASSOCIATION'] WELLINGTON, Monday Becoming out of control in Ohiro Road to-day, a motor-car dived over a bank and came to a standstill with its nose resting on the bed of the Ohiro stream and the rear bumper-bar on a level with the bank. As the result Mr. W. T. Eiby, a salesman, of Wellington, suffered a fractured left collarbone and severe laceration to the left hip and concussion. A companion, Mr. A. Fitzgerald, a garage proprietor, also of Wellington, was extensively bruised and suffered head injuries and concussion. Both were taken to hospital, where their condition was reported to be satisfactory.
