THE DORIC STAR The Doric Star is due from Napier lit noon to-day to complete loading. The vesssl will berth at Queen's Wharf and she s scheduled to sail for London, via Panama, en Thursday. OAKBANK DELAYED IN DOCK The Oakbank was to have come out of dock yesterday afternoon and sailed fur Nauru Island. Owing to the stormy conditions prevailing the undocking of the vessel was postponed until to-day. CARGO FROM JAPAN The Manju Maru left Wellington on Saturday and is expected this afternoon. TANKER SOUTH AFRICA The Norwegian motor-tanker South Afr ca is due from San Pedro at daybreak to-day. her arrival having been delayed by 'he stormy weather during the week-end. Jhe vessel will unload bulk petrol for Jhe Texas Oil Company at Western i "Jj 3 ,, and she will complete discharge at Wellington. OOASTAL VESSELS DELAYED The continuous wej weather on Saturday prevented cargo work being done on vessels in port. In consequence the departures of a number of coastal vessels were postponed until to-day. The Coronation is now to sail for Whangarei at 4 p.m the lin for Awanui, and the Claymore for AMinn;arei at 5 p.m., and the laniwha for Paeroa at 6 p.m. MISHAP TO RANGATIRA When arriving at Wellington from Lyttelton yesterday morning during heavy ruin and wind, the Union Company's steamer Rangatira struck some submerged object at the Heads. Sho afterwards berthed al 9 a.m.. the passengers being all right. Mio will be replaced by the Maori, which will leave Wellington for Lyttelton to-night.
