MID-SUMMER DANCE

The mid-summer golf dance held in the Otamarakau Hall this week was a very enjoyable occasion. The hall had been attractively decorated with gold and black streamers. During the evening a bagpipe selection was rendered by Miss Helen Clovier, of Hamilton. Among those present were:—Mesdames .Law, Olney, Campbell, Fagan, Wilkinson, Marsh and Davidson, and the Misses J. Oollins, D. Delves, A. Foote and Beth Foote (Takapuna), Elsa Hicks, Pauline Jackson, Nellie Hicks, Shirley Law, Paulino Law, Annie Mikkelsen, Edna Harris, Hera McDonald, Cuff, Doris Haigli, Maud Wilkins, Rosie Harris, Jane Hughes, Florence Mikkelsen, Margaret Drabble, Annie Turner, Helen Clovier (Hamilton), Kayo Burt, Zena Hansen, Freda Williams, Mavis Kerr, Rosie Bradford, Daphne Voltz, Marjorie Neilson, Jean Sherman, Peggy Marsh, Joyce Mikkelsen, Beryl Fagan, Kona Marsh and Gladys Fagan.
