CARS IN COLLISION
INJURY TO PASSENGER DRIVER SOUGHT BY POLICE Slight injuries to the head were received by Sirs. F. Wilson, of 7 George Street, Newmarket, when a motor-car in which she was a passenger was struck by another car at the junction of Shore and Brighton Roads, Parnell, about three o'clock yesterday afternoon. The injured woman was taken to the Auckland Hospital in a St. John ambulance, but she went home after, being treated in the casualty department. The motor-car in which Mrs. Wilson was riding was being driven by Mr. A. D. Lewis, of Neals Avenue, City, from Shore Road into Brighton Road. Mr. Lewis swerved to avoid another car which was descending Brighton Road, but his car was struck near the lefthand back wheel, and forced over to the wrong side of the road, stopping on the footpath. It was not damaged extensively. The other car, which was stopped only momentarily, • was driven off along Shore Road. The front bumper-bar was torn from this car and handed tc the police, who are endeavouring to traco the driver.
