An interesting time was spent in the Milne and Choyce Reception Hall yesterday, when the members of the Auckland Travel Club held their weekly morning tea. The director, Mrs. Victor Macky, was the hostess, and introduced Lady Sandeman Allen, of London, to the members. Miss E. Oldfield, also of Loudon, and the representative of the English Speaking Union, was welcomed ana briefly spoke. Another guest was Miss Russell-Fergusson, harpist and Ringer of Hebridean folk songs, who is touring New Zealand. The speaker and guest of honour was Mrs. L. Drexler, travel hostess in Melbourne for the Victorian Government Tourist Bureau. Her subject was "Transtasman Travel." Musical monologues were given by the Misses Leah and Zella Roseveare. Shoulder floral sprays were presented by the club to Lady Sandeman Allen, Mrs. Drexler and Miss Russell-Fergusson. Mrs. Macky welcomed the overseas and out-of-town guests, who included: Mrs. J. Moss and Miss K. Kelly (Sydney), Mrs. Lily Krug (Germany), Mrs. R. Schaeffer, Mrs. J. Kritch and Miss L. Drexler (Australia), Mrs. Gray, Mrs. W. E. O'Shea, Mr. L. A.' Whisker and Mr. F. W.
