ACCIDENT WITH GUN
MAN LOSES TWO FINGERS When out shooting with a party beyond Papakura yesterday Mr. George Edwin Young, aged 54, married, of 11 Ward Street, Ellerslie, stumbled, and the shotgun he was carrying exploded, blowing away two fingers and part of his right hand. He was taken to Papakura, and, after receiving medical attention, was taken to the Auckland Hospital in a St. John ambulance.
