WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIPS MEETING IN SYDNEY SYDNEY, Jan. 17 At a women's athletic meeting in Sydney yesterday Miss Edio Robinson (New South Wales) in a brilliant finish, equalled the national record and won the Australian women's 220 yds. championship in 25 l-5s from Miss E. Wearne (New Soulii Wales). Misses Kobinson and Wearne flashed over the line together and the judges took five minutes to determine the winner.

Miss V. Cowan (Victoria), 32ft. Uin., won the Australian women's shot putt championship. This is an Australian record, the previous record being 31ft. Sjjin.
